Asha Bhosle and Ghulam Ali came together in an album Meraj-E -Ghazal. The song Dil dhadakne ka sabab yaad aya is from the same album. Asha Bhosle has lent her beautiful voice to the ghazal. The lyrics are written by Nasir Kazmi. Though the lyrics and the composition of the ghazal are simple, it is Asha Bhosle's voice that makes it soulful and melodious.
