To quote the sleeve notes “ Paigham-e-Mohabbat is an Album of poetry of this century, of poets of united India who witnessed the partition of the country and could only express the anguish of this trauma through their poems…..”.

The superb poetry of Mirza Ghalib plus the velvet voice of Jagjit Singh make a mesmerizing effect on listeners.
