"Paas rahta hai door rahta hai" is a track from the album Paigham-e-Mohabbat. The Music has been given by the noted Film maker Muzaffar Ali who has conceptualized the Album. To quote the sleeve notes “ Paigham-e-Mohabbat is an Album of poetry of this century, of poets of united India who witnessed the partition of the country and could only express the anguish of this trauma through their poems…..”.
The song "Paas rahta hai door rahta hai" is written by Abdul Hameed Adam, and sung by Sukhwinder Singh. The lyrics of the song are simply superb and the Sukhwinder Singh's voice adds a charm to the song. For all who love Sukhwinder's voice and serious poetry, this is a must listen track.
