Taaron Bhari Hai Raat by Shafqat Ali Khan

The youngest son of Salamat Ali Khan, Shafqat Ali Khan is a master of the Ghazal tradition of Indian classical music. The song "Taron Bhari Hai Raat"  is based on a Rajasthani raag mand. The song is in the mood of melancholy. The song appeared in the album Awara Sur composed or arranged by Bappi Lahiri. Though all the songs of the album are good and will give you a different experience, Taaron Bhari Hai Raat is the best track of the album. The song is 7:57 minutes long in the album but if you ever get to hear the live performance of the song by Shafqat Ali Khan, that is awesome. It is a 20 mins long performance.
