"Paas rahta hai door rahta hai" is a track from the album Paigham-e-Mohabbat. The Music has been given by the noted Film maker Muzaffar Ali who has conceptualized the Album. To quote the sleeve notes “ Paigham-e-Mohabbat is an Album of poetry of this century, of poets of united India who witnessed the partition of the country and could only express the anguish of this trauma through their poems…..”.

Though all the songs of the album are good and will give you a different experience, Taaron Bhari Hai Raat is the best track of the album. The song is 7:57 minutes long in the album but if you ever get to hear the live performance of the song by Shafqat Ali Khan, that is awesome. It is a 20 mins long performance. "Hazaaron khwahishen aisi" is one of the most soft and soothing ghazals sung by Jagjit Singh. The superb poetry of Mirza Ghalib plus the velvet voice of Jagjit Singh make a mesmerizing effect on listeners. Though the song has been sung by a lot of singers and even Jagjit Singh himself has sung it a lot of times but this one is perhaps the best version of the song as well the best performance of Jagjit Singh.
